In december 2012 my little daughter and me started to dream of our own home cockpit. We wanted to try building a two-seater generic airliner home cockpit at the lowest costs possible. The designed use was that daddy teaches the daughter how to fly a Cessna 172, a short range business jet, a long range airliner or even a jet fighter. We also wanted to use old available hardware and materials, such as wood from an old wardrobe found in the attic. After a few weeks of construction, we already came then to quite good results, of which we will report on this website. Anybody who is cleverly crafted, somewhat familiar with computers and the handling of a soldering iron will easily achieve this dream without spending tens of thousands of dollars for manufactured components of the established companies. We never claimed to build a scale cockpit just for one type of aircraft. And so we invented our generic airliner cockpit - made by Leonie and Andi.

Meanwhile we moved a big step forward and we were lucky to get some Boeing 737 800 NG parts. So now we are on our way to build a pure 737 but we still fly a lot of aircrafts on the "usual" pc.

We like to thank:

Johan Knol for his amazing software and his wonderful gift. All users of the relevant Internet websites that helped us so competent in the learning phase of our project.

And now have fun on our website. Leonie & Andreas Giel.
